lib32ncurses5-dev software package provides developers libraries for ncurses (32-bit), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lib32ncurses5-dev
lib32ncurses5-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lib32ncurses5-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lib32ncurses5-dev *
